Youth Exchange
The Youth Exchange is designed to align specific themes and activities with working methods to yield effective outcomes:
- Cultural Awareness: Energizers, team building, and cultural nights engage participants to share and learn about each other's traditions and cultures .
- Communication challenges and public speaking game day in Cyprus and team-based activities help participants learn to make decisions, adapt to challenges, and develop communication skills.
- Misunderstanding Problem Solving: Participants gain knowledge about perspective issues and engage in critical thinking to recognize obstacles and factors affecting communication.
- Innovation and Self-Improvement: Activities promote self-awareness, teamwork, and adapting to changes, while also exploring the relationship between innovation and self-improvement.
- Eliminating Discrimination: Activities focus on combating discrimination and promoting innovative approaches, fostering self-improvement and discussing ways to fight discrimination (e.g., "Circle game").
The program aims to enhance participants' awareness, critical thinking, and skills in addressing communication concerns, critical thinking and international dialogue .

Each day will have a focus as explained below.
Day 1: Opening, understanding
the project, Erasmus+ and EU policy presentation: Focus on introducing project
and getting to know each other. The expectations and desired achievements in
the project will be discussed. Familiarity with the program, the methods used,
and the competencies they will gain in the course of their work. As we have any
icebreaking activities the participants will get to know each other while
using non verbal communication which
will help them to understand the importance of expressing using gestures to
send a message.
Day 2: Getting into Creative speaking and getting out of the box: Participants will get acquainted with the main working methods and take part in the first workshop to indicate the importance of their use in working on the topic , which is communication; this workshop will improve one's ability to clearly transmit his or her message.

Day 3: Exploring the Cypriot culture. Trip to Limassol. A trip to Limassol will be organized for the participants for a closer acquaintance with the Cypriot culture. Also an activity to theater Kourion who will be prepared from the participants – expressing feelings through history and culture
Day 4: Learning through Games: During the day, participants will go through the main thematic workshops through games, learning and getting used with public speaking through games activity in the venue and in Pissouri; during this day two importing titles will be treated "international dialogue" and "perspective" ., they will leave an impact on the participants by transforming them into an effective unit and by discipline their mindset.
Day 5: Learning how to understand stress and it impacts on communication and expressing their feelings through Arts during the city games : participants through creative arts will learn how to express their feelings in group activities by filming different emotions as a short video or by using photography to to transfert a message or by music etc..
Day 6: Youth and Innovation - preparing their own feelings and expressions in small groups in order to have debates about interesting topics related – ending the day space to participants and a free evening.
Day 7: Summing up the results, youth passes, general evaluation: The results of the project were summed up, the final group projects were presented for the dissemination of the project and feedback was received.
We will work on all specific
issues of our activities in the Non Formal Education method as we describe
below. In the following lines we are going to describe the elements that we are
going to use.

Project Name: Erasmus = eMpowering + partiCipation of youth in douple (E=MC2)
Duration: From 1/02/2024 till 31/01/2025 (12 months)
Activity: Youth Exchange in Cyprus for 56 participants and 14 leaders + 2 stakeholders at Hylatio Tourist Village in Pissouri for be encourage them and empower young people to actively participate in society, fostering their connection to the European project.
Hosting Place (Venue): Hylatio Tourist Village, www.hylatio.com.cy Pissouri, Limassol, Cyprus. In the venue we are going to have 3 meals and snacks coffee at breaks.
Activity dates: 01 to 09 of November 2024 (including travelling dates)
Participants: Each organisation will have 6 participants age 16 - 25 years old and 2 leaders no age limit (Cyprus, Lebanon, Tunisia, Armenia, France, Poland, Jordan, Romania)
