Preparation Activities

The preparation of participants to work effectively in teams will be integrated into various project activities:

• Initially, participants will engage as national groups during the preparation stage, learning to collaborate within their own teams for dissemination and follow-up after the Youth Exchange (YE).

• During the YE, participants will be grouped with different nationalities and backup groups to encourage cross-cultural cooperation. Team work activities will guide them through creating and discussing different or similar issues in each country.

• Through this activity, participants will learn teamwork and collaboration, realizing that better results stem from effective team work.

• The implementation phase will involve ongoing online discussions and individual/team work on communication challenges.

• Participants from different countries will collaborate extensively during the YE and even afterward, preparing and implementing actions based on their debate topic in their respective areas.

The project aims to provide participants with opportunities to explore issues and develop solutions collaboratively, emphasizing teamwork, coaching, knowledge sharing, and practical implementation.

Preparation material

For the Youth Exchange that is going to be from 1st to 9 of November 2024 all the National Group need to prepare the following:

1. A Research on their own difficulties they face on communication between each other, people from different generations, conflicts etc. Methods they use to fix or mitigate such problems
2. Some research on the book "The little Prince" and how they perceive this book. What they understand from it.
3. We need from each participant posters about this, it could be personal to each participant, or as a group if its shared issues. 4 posters at least from each National Group representing the whole work of each National Group in JPG. Posters can be done either in paper or electronically with any program. We need just the photos of the poster to be in the page to show their work.
4. Also you need to arrange one laptop per team at least
5. A general report for the whole work that was done (description of all the activities) from all National Groups for organising the webpage of preparation activities of each National Group.

Monthly Timetable of the program

The following timetable will be implemented during the whole duration of the project:

March 2024

• Starting of the program – first communication with the partners.
• Online Meeting about the project for partners organisations
• Create a group in Facebook with all the trainers / leaders participating in the project for an easier exgange of ideas or questions about the program and for better communication, thought sharing and actions.
• Selection of the participants that will participate in YE in November 2024 (from 01 to 09 of November 2024)
• Signing contracts with all participants of the training and the organisations. Online Meeting about the project with all participants

April 2024

• Facebook group will be extented to all participants except from leaders, trainers and failitators of the orgnizations. Facebook page for the moment is going to be a closed page – after in dissemination is going to open for all the people for dissemination of the results.
• Contest Logo for our project 'E=MC2'.

May 2024

• Online meeting with all participants: 1st Detailed InfoPack that will be send to all participants through Facebook Webpage and also through their emails after the webinar. Representation of the results of our logo contest.

June 2024

• Do a research to find ways of participantion of Youth and ways of empowerment of youth throug organisations, activities, public sectors and others ways of participation and empowerment of young people in their country. 
• Organize a road trip, to a place that organises such activities, respectively in every country, to visit, participate and use the material for their research.

July – October 2024

• Lectures and discussions from specialists, informing the participants about the theme of the project and how this faced in different ways.
• Project planning and implementation. The project includes the creation of four posters, in every country. The Posters will represent the youth participation, empowerment of young people and ways of participation and empowerment that they implement in their country. . The posters can be in any form, like comics but they must be accurate and enjoyable

October 2024

• Article preparation from groups by each country, writing about their work and what they have done during the whole program (from March 2024 till the end of October 2024). Articles will be published to our webpage
• Publish to the Webpage of the project all the information and material developed through the project.
• Create an online leaflet about Youth Exchange. The event will take place in November in Cyprus

November 2024

• Youth Exchange (7 days excluding travelling days from 01 to 09 of November) in Cyprus
• Evaluation of the program from the organisations.

December 2024

• Final modification of the activities of the training on our webpage.Online meeting with all the participants for follow up of our program

January 2025

• Set up the 'Final evaluation letter'. The letter will include indications in ways that people can work for being inclusive and having cooperations with others and also will explain their internal emotions and way of their work during the whole period of the project (12 months).
• Dissemination of results. All organisations will need to come in contact with their local area so all results of our project to be published and disseminated to a lot of people
• Create a video about the whole project. One video will be prepared from each group of participants, from each organisation.
